The short version
Two guides currently include an affiliate link: the Medihill Hotpod example in our medical-alert contract checklist and the Dragon Touch frame example in our guide to sending family photos across countries. These programmes run through Awin. We do not sell advertising or paid placements.
These links are clearly identified. A qualifying purchase through one may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. A commission is not guaranteed, and prices, availability and programme terms can change.
An affiliate relationship does not guarantee coverage, a positive review, a recommendation, or a place in a comparison table.
How links are labeled
Pages containing affiliate links display a disclosure near the beginning, before the first commercial link, and beside the product link itself. Affiliate links use sponsored link attributes. Primary-source citations remain direct, non-affiliate links.
Following an affiliate link takes you through Awin to the merchant. Awin and the merchant may process connection information and use cookies for attribution under their own policies. Read our privacy page for the difference between an external link and this site’s optional analytics.
What partners cannot buy
- A higher review score or “best” badge.
- Removal of a supported criticism or important limitation.
- Control over our testing method, verdict, or product selection.
- Access to private tool answers or reader information.
- Placement that imitates independent editorial content.
Free products and sponsored work
If a company provides a review unit, service access, travel, or other material benefit, that fact will appear on the relevant page. We prefer to buy products anonymously when practical and will explain how the sample was obtained.
Sponsored content, if accepted in the future, will be labeled as advertising and kept visually separate from independent reviews and buying guides.
Our commercial test
Before publishing a recommendation, we ask whether we would still make it if the commission were zero. If the answer is no, it does not belong in independent editorial content.
Research-only pages may link to a relevant provider without calling it a winner. Affiliate availability never converts documented product information into hands-on evidence.
